You have to go to them sometimes."

FRIDAY PRETTIES!!!

Do any of you remember
Friday Pretties?
Since I have kind of dropped the proverbial
Blog Ball
I asked my sister, Sherrie, from
If she would like to take it over.

She called me yesterday and said that she would.
I am so excited!!!
I was sad that I was no longer doing it,
but was not finding the extra time
each week to give to it.

This time around I get to be a participant!
So,
Please visit Sher for

Here's mine-

A couple of months ago I set three
goals for myself-
1. Take a basic computer class
2. Take a photography class
3. Take a cake decorating class

I have accomplished 2 of those 3 goals.
I took the photography class to learn
that I need a lot more instruction!

And, I took a cake decorating class.
Also learning that I need a lot more instruction!
But, I did bring this cake home to my boys.
They are hard to impress, but I felt like
they had a moment-
Wow, she can do more than just cook chicken.
Who knew?
This is so basic, but I had so much fun!

I hope that each one of you joins Sherrie
for Friday Pretties!
It's so much fun,
and you can make lots of new friends.
:)
Do I sound like a mom?
Ha ha

Home Again

Home from vacation.
I call it
 "Re-Entry"
This year I was surprisingly ready to go home.
My husband was Shocked.
He calls me "The Extender"
because, typically, I am.
I don't like fun things to end
but this year I was missing home.

Home Is Good!

Also, today, I am thinking of my Mom.
Today would have been her 76th birthday.
She went Home to the Lord
in September of 2010
She is Loved & Missed!

1 On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 7 ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ”
Luke 24
