Quite Loudness

My week "Unplugged" is over.
Wow, was that was hard!

There are always great
lessons in stopping the noise
and just listening to the quiet.

I realized that all that quiet,
without the mind numbing
distractions that I have put
in my daily life, is so loud!

So, I hope that I can add a little
bit back in without ending up
where I was.  :)
We will see...

There are far, far better things ahead
than any we leave behind.

I wondered how it went? Did you feel lost at first? Do you care if I snag that quote by C.S. Lewis? That is such a great quote and I need to hang it on my wall. :) I have never seen that before.
I am glad you are back :)

I love the quiet. But your computer can be quiet if you turn down the volume. Ha! :) Seriously though, I am proud of you! How can we listen to what God is trying to teach us (through His Word, Bible Study, church, or people) if we don't ever have those quiet times?

That is a great C.S. Lewis quote!

Happy Friday!

Wow! What a challenge! & you did it! There is definetly something said for just the quiet! It makes me think about the verse Be still and know that I am God. psalm 46:10

Have a wonderful weekend!

A week away from the mental busyness of the computer. Awesome.
I have cut down my computer usage and feel a lot calmer for it. I still blog and visit.... but without the frantic compulsion I was feeling.
Your decision was an encouragement to me...thanks.
God Bless

Love your blog-it's so pretty. I also love the C.S.Lewis quote, and I think I'll put it on my new (old) chalk board in my cleaned up studio!

I found your blog and I like it very much, so I became your new follower.

Greetings from Holland,
