My Cup Runneth Over...

"I didn't find my friends;
the good Lord gave them to me."
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

I am so Blessed!
The good Lord has given to me so many
wonderful, loving, godly, loyal,
beautiful and very interesting friends.

Some of them were given to me
through family.
Some, I feel like, are family.

Regardless of the origin of these friendship,
I am just so grateful!
So Blessed!
So Amazed!

"Friendship is the inexpressible comfort of
feeling safe with a person,
having neither to weigh thoughts
nor measure words."
-George Elliot

At this holiday season I have,
since losing my Mom,
become even more grateful for
the wonderful women
and their friendships
that have sustained me
through two of the
hardest years of my life.
unconditional friendship
Words, Time, Tears, Laughter, Tears,
Cards,Letters, Visits, Meals...
I could go on and on.

And, to my new Blog Friends-
Thank you for your love, support
and friendship over the miles.
This amazing World of Blog
has been an unexpected
source of comfort and love for me.

You are a blessing in the lives of so many people who feel honored to call you friend. What would we be without the loving arms of women to represent the loving arms of our Savior. God is so good to give us the friends we need to help us along in life, who love the things we love, who feel the things we feel. How wonderful to be reminded of this at Christmas!
