Open as a Meadow

"We see hardly one inch
of the narrow lane of time.
To our God, eternity lies open as a meadow.
It must seem strange to the heavenly people
that we ever call prayer "Unanswered"
when it is not what we expect."

Hi Joyce .... So beautiful! Amy Carmichael's writings have ministered to me more than any other author I have ever found. Her words pierce, yet refresh. They bring tears and repentance and more love. I've been away for a few days and am now battling an abscessed tooth so haven't had a chance to check if there is anything new with Sherrie. How is she doing? And how are YOU doing?
With love, from my heart to yours.
