I have so many pictures to share
from my trip up north.
Here is just one that I thought
I would share today.
One word comes to mind...

On a different note...
Please keep my sister
in your prayers today.

That mean ol'chemo has done a
number on her.
Her white blood count is zero
and she has developed a fever.
She is going to the hospital this morning.

I know that these are the things that happen
and are suppose to happen,
but they are happening to MY little sis
but I really don't like it.
Not one bit!!!

Joyce, your picture is beautiful. I look forward to seeing more. I do indeed pray for Sherrie. I was with my sister Nancy last May right after she had one of her chemo treatments. She woke up two days later with a fever of almost 103. We called the doctor and headed towards the hospital, and she was in there for three days. I stayed with her the whole time. Your post brings back lots of memories. Nancy is doing well now ... the chemo is over, the test results are all good. I can relate to your words about this being "your" sis. It makes all the difference in the world when it is someone you love who is suffering. All you want to do is to make them well. And all you can do is love them and trust in the One Who holds them in His hands. My tenderest thoughts are with you and with Sherrie and with all your family.

Hope your sister is doing better, best wishes and prayers for your family!

I was just in Canada and bought a print of a painting of a sail boat by an artist named Doug Forsythe ... I think this photo is every bit, if not more beautiful!
