I am so sorry to hear this. My grandma was very sick (not the cold kind of sick) and I still think that was the hardest time in my life. But, when we trust in Him, things work out according to His plans.

I watched my brother-in-law's and my cousin's faith grow by leaps and bounds as they went through cancer. Even when my cousin knew that her struggle was ending, actually maybe because it was, her faith became more firm. May yours and your mom's do the same. I'll pray for you. May you both come out of the fire as gold refined.

I want to say that my Mom has believed in and lived for God her whole life. I do believe that her faith is strong. My faith is is strong too, but this is a reality moment.
She has told me many times that she is peaceful and that she truly does believe God's promises. This whole thing is just hard for me. So, thank you for your prayers, each one means so much.
