Happy Happy Saturday!!!
This is an apron that I made.
I have made a variety of aprons, bags,
flag banners etc...
Anyway, I am thinking about opening an Etsy shop.
Do any of you have any advice for me?

i think etsy would be a great avenue for your handmade items..... i was the owner of an artisans market in my town for a few years and from looking at your apron its a good fitand i am sure anything else hand made by you would be a great hit as well.....i have a friend who has a vintage store on etsy and one thing she says is there are highs and lows and also you must be careful with getting your money ( some of the people have purchased items and haven't paid her yet....but that should not dismay you from checking it out .... you go girl !! just curiuous if you don't mind me asking ,what would you price an apron like that ?

Your apron is just adorable!
Your style is so inviting and pretty, you will have no trouble opening an etsy shop and running it successfully.
There are just a few little start up costs. I believe it is $.20 per item listed.
When I had my etsy shop (jewelry) I also hosted a give a way. Not that it is something you have to do, I just noticed that other etsy bloggers did that and I had hoped to give others a "sample" of what my quality was like.
And prayers. I had wanted my items to be a blessing to others and go into the hands of who the Lord would have them go. :o)
I hope that little bit helps. :o)

Have a lovely day.
Sincerely ~ Trish

I WOULD LOVE TRY IT AS WELL WITH SELLING MY HERBAL TEAS & ORGANIC GRANOLAS....I WOULD HAVE TO GET A LITTLE BETTER WITH THIS COMPUTER THOUGH..... AS FAR AS PAY-PAL YES YOU CAN DO THAT AND WHEN I TALK WITH CAROL MY FRIEND I'LL FIND OUT IF SHE DOES IT AS WELL....I'LL GET YOU HER ETSY SHOP NAME TOO SHE HAS A REALLY NICE VINTAGE ANTIQUE SITE I THINK IT IS NAMED RE-FINED LIVING OR RE-FIND LIVING IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO TRY TO LOOK IT UP. HOPE YOU HAD A VERY NICE DAY AND AS ALWAYS I ENJOY BEING ON YOUR BLOG ..... I MAY EVEN WANT TO BUY YOUR APRON IF YOU ARE SELLING IT.

Ahhh! I would buy that apron in a heartbeat! It is just too cute. I need advice for etsy, too. I just opened mine.

I was thinking about that comment you left on my blog about how fun the Farm Chicks event is. Well, since you didn't make it to your fun beach vacation, you all should trek up here for it! It's seriously way to much fun. Okay, maybe Washington and Michigan are pretty far away for just a weekend event.... but still!

I am so lucky! (and blessed),,, to find your blog today. We share a bond! I live with my mom due to her ill health, too! I love love your blog! I think your etsy shop is a great idea. I thought that was an apron pillow.... with ties that go around the back???? That would be cool for a porch in the country, wouldn't it??? I'll be back!
